Not saying the Z06 would have been faster but passengers does make a difference. I really don't know how many he had in the car but it did say two passengers.
And believe it or not, I've had two in the far back of mine before. Perhaps illegally but we had a very short distance to go and only way to get there.

It would be nice to have nice open roads like that in the U.S. to play on.
The GT2 turbo would out run the Z06 on the top side IMO
But the new ZR1 !!

I could almost buy 3 Z06's for the price of one GT2 porsche....sorry if I'm not impressed. Not exactly the fairest of racing conditions as has been mentioned.

Sorry, but i have been in a gt2 and that car is pure sex. The gt3 is a N/A 3.8 liter boxer 6 cylidner that puts oput 435hp and the gt3 rsr is a 4.0 N/A boxer six that makes 450hp. Those are some pretty baller engines if you ask me. The gt2 also has the internals and valvetrain to handle over 900hp with jsut a little more boost, bolt ons and tuning many have made 700whp on the turbos they come with.
A properly drive zr1 would pull a GT2 though, pretty bad. A well driven GT2 traps 122-126mph around what a z06 vette does.Last edited by Zinergy; 09-29-2009 at 01:56 PM.

Lol, the car, handles like a dream its so easy to place anywhere you want. It has brakes made by god, it does 60-0 5 feet less than the zr1 and 10 feet less than the z06. It out handles both, has a back seat, has a much nicer interior than both. Its a damn fien car. I personally cant see myself ever spending 200k on a car even if i was rich. But 90-120k on a used one hell yeah.

That video is BS, they barely hit 120mph in the zr1 in the 1/4mile. People and mags have hit 128-131mph bone stock. the thign that makes me laugh is there 0-60 time is like .1 or .2 apart whic hsi fine, but then the gt2 pulls up top. A 530bhp 3200lbs car should not pull on a 638bhp 3300lbs car fro ma roll, and that exactly what it did.

I liek when they asked the guy driving the zr1 if he got all he could out of it and he goes YEAH. A 12 flat @ 120ishmph is a horrid time for a zr1, but that part that makes me think it was BS was the fact that he got such a good 0-60time and then horrible times after that, which all you have to do after 60mph is slam gears.

To make things fair the vette should be allowed mods in the difference in price. GT2 is pure sex but for the price Z06 needs to be without passenger. slower the speeds the more it makes a difference. Because of the weigh the gt2 gains a few mph and just steadily pulls away because of it. ALso needs a driver mod.

Why is that in all fairness? Since the GTR is 80k and the zr1 is 105k then the GTR should be allowed 25k in mods when compared ot the zr1. Which would easily be a turbo upgrade/supporting mods and it would put down over 600whp and spank the zr1, nobody ever says that when the GTR is compard to the ZR1 on these forums. People on here only say shit liek that when the vette loses to a more expensive car not the other way around which is kinda hypocritical. Its a stock vs stock race and thats the way it should be.
We all know the z06 is a awesome bang for buck car in the world of supercars but that doesnt mean you get to add mods to the price to equal the car your racing. They were comparing stock vs stock 2 awesome cars that come awesome in stock form.Last edited by Zinergy; 10-01-2009 at 08:13 AM.
