New to Corvette

Well I sold the 2002 T/A Ws6 a couple weeks ago. I bought a yellow 2003 Z06yesterday with 38,500km on it. I pick it up on monday. I will post pictures when I get them. What are the z06 weakpoints? What are the first things that need to or should be adressed?

Z06 and week points? maybe that its a little to awesome..but other than that? nothing.

First thing for me would be a skip shift eliminator...

You and I did the exact same thing down to the color choice also...lol you wont regret anything and as it sits no there is no weak points...now once you start modding yea you will experience the week points..lol congrats!

the weak point is the driver !! these are nice model covettes. c/5 zo6. 3,000 lbs/405 horses !! they also have lower gears in the tranny,get you going quickly out of the box..

I'am in the process of figuring out what has been done to the car. I see that it has a blackwing on it. It does not have the 1-4 skip shift, so maybe the program is upgraded. Is there anyway for me to tell without taking it to my mechanic and having him hook it up to his computer?

so far these mods look normal, and most owners do them [shift kit/blackwing air cleaner ,setup... i also did hand tuner more power ? at least i turned cooling fans on quicker .. all zo6 go down on power when up, to 220 degrees.. can you talk to owner or last owner ? hope no headers ? or anything else not factory stock ?

Have not talked to original owner. No headers, looks to be pretty much stock. Must have been high on gasoline fumes, it does have the skip shift installed and working. Will post pics after oct 3, when Iam home from work.
