New car owner Q's?
Hello to everyone I will have an '04 z06 in a couple of weeks. I was told that I should get the skip shift eliminator, which is a good idea. But are there any other small mods that I can do to make some extra HP or help me with ease of driving like the skip shift eliminator?

Do you want free mods, or affordable mods
Anyway, a free mod will be the zip-tie mod. That's when you take out the air lid that holds your air filter in position, and then use some long zip-ties to now hold the sir filter in positon safely. That should gain you some hp
You can also get an aftermarket CAI like the Vararam VB2
The skip shift thing is annoying but manageable; I had mine programmed out
Of course the longtube headers and exhaust
BTW, if it's a Z06 it can not be coupe. All Z06's are FRC, or hard top2007 Audi RS 4

Jet Stream Blue- 2009 Lingenfelter ZR1
Good tips, you may also want to go with an aftermarket shifter or the newer C6 Z06 shifter. Have fun!

What are some inexpensive mods that I could do while trying to pay this thing off.
I am hoping to get the car at the end of the month/beginning of april so we have dry raods or at least no salt.
