mounting a fire extinguisher in a c5

yeah so I was just wondering if any one here has mounted an extinguisher inside there c5. or just wondering were they think they would mount it etc. having a fire is one of my biggest fears of sitting there watiching my car burn for somethin that could have possibly been put out with a small extinguisher. let me know thanks!

FYI: those little 2.5-5# extinguishers don't do much in terms of putting a car fire out, unless you catch it REALLY quick and its something small like a wire or something.

You really need at a minimum a couple 25#ers to put a car fire out. If you've ever watched a car catch fire at the track you'll see that they come out with a couple of 40# extinguishers and usually need 3-4 of them to get everything out.

Having said that, I still have a 5# extinguisher mounted in front of the pass. seat in my C5.
