memory seats

my "new" 02 has the memory option, but no owners manual. i'm winging it. when i set the seat i push and hold the memory 1 button till the light goes out. seems to work fine. when i lock the doors with the remote the seat moves forward and the steering wheel moves back, like its another setting. when i unlock, i have to hit the memory 1 button to put the seat back where it belongs to get in. it doesn't move when i get out, or when i unlock the doors. any help?

never mind. i figured out why the key fobs are numbered 1 and 2.
