Clint, love the 6. Is it gonna come with the paddel shift too? Whats gonna happen to your old tranny? And seriously your gonna try to be easy on it! Please, I might be new, but no one buys a Z06 puts a supercharger and tranny swap to it, and take it easy.

This one is actually a 4 speed. They kept all the other parts for manual cores. But i hear yeah i better take it easy.

I really dont make great money it was the 4 and a half years before that i worked 2 jobs 80-90hr a week. I have never called in or missed a day of work since i have had a full time job and thta has been 5 years. I was 2k away from 100k in my savings. So all and all i am still sitting decent. 24 in 3 weeks i will have 3 cars paid for and 30k in the bank and on top of that i can keep saving.

Just an analogy I was using since most vette owners understandably are older. Though i'm sure most will argue they are young at heart
Op can learn alot from you, anyone who can leave there z06 at just a filter and opening the exhaust has some real self control

Im 23 next week and am buying myself a vette for my birthday. I buy land at back tax auctions and sell for alot of profit a year later. I bought my first piece at 13 (with my dads help) for $800 and sold it for 12000 a year later. I took that 12 and bought more land. I just sold a lot in a nice subdivision and have 35000 to go buy a new toy. I put countless hours in fixing up these properties and I think I have earned my new toy.

Well...I did just install my ZR1 package that has the front splitter, rear spoiler and side skirts, just for cosmetics, but I get your point.

I worked nor am cold storage from 530am to 430pm then i went directly to pepsi palletizing product 445pm to 930pm. Most of the time i never ate. Pepsi closed there doors so they could run directly outta omaha. If that place was still open i would be there still. You would get a raise 2 times a year june 1 and december 1. For being part time it paid well. By the way NICE car! By the way 1 full time job 1 part time job.

Well you know they say, you can drive a $70,000 car, still live with there mother and be cool. Plus you get your underwear cleaned! I am not bashing you, as I am consider putting a nice down payment down on a Corvette, but a C5 (I like them better then the C6). Toy with the engine and what not, but I want to build by credit up. So when I am 22ish, I will have some credit and $20,000 for a down payment. That's my goal mean time... Plus get a decent paying job, I am thinking about going to school to be an X-Ray tech. But I am 18, and I catch from mom... for driving a nicer car then her. She bought my old car, lol 1997 Acura TL 3.2L.

I think i am going to look for a part time job again. I can work countless hours where i am now being 2nd shift is short 300 ppl but i dont like the fact of doing the same job for 16 hrs. They make you stay 5 hrs if your going to staay overtime. I need to get my savings back up again and get that house. I wanted a c5 right after i got my ta paid off gald i waited bucuz i would have had to make payment again but instead i saved. Came out with a low mileage z06 i wouldn't have had as nice of a vette if i didnt wait.

Pepsi paid for my Z06 too. I paid them cash on the spot. I work for Frito-Lay but we're owned by Pepsico. Only one job, but usually 10-12 hours a day. It does pay well though!
It certainly helps that my wife works too, and we're "Empty Nesters" and both of our homes are paid for. (no mortage)
When you are in charge of your money, instead of the other way around, you can accomplish great things!
