BTW, I've been a member here since 2001, but at some point my account was deleted, I guess. I used to be 12sMustang.

Good looking car! Sounds like a good deal. Probably a better deal than that guy is getting with his girlfriend-hahaa.

Sweet. It's hard to tell because NADA is about right, but kelly's blue book is a lot lower. And, the guy told me he had a 15,000 reserve.

I didn't move from the stang to the LS1... I still own the stang The vette is my beater The stang, though a '91, was much more expensive, haha.

No modifications! It's a cherry and is exactly the way I wanted to find it. If it had modifications, it would be worth less to me, because modified cars are more likely to have problems due to improper installation, crappy choice in parts, and/or abuse.

I'll bet I can get 13.3 or lower out of it, and I'm sure it'll dyno 285 rwhp or so. I prefer to target the low end of the spectrum so that I'm not disappointed. My dad's auto ran a 13.3. So with 3.42s instead of 3.15s and the fact that a stick should put a lil more power down and launch a lil harder, I'd expect I'm not asking too much to run a 13.3.

Future mods: Hmm.... I dunno. I'm afraid that if I start, I'll never stop, but if I choose to modify it, hopefully I'll be able to restrain myself to what you've done to your WS6 and maybe a cam. The mustang will remain my money pit.

It's been a while, but I ran it about 2 months ago. The track was warm 80* or so. I believe I cut a high 1.9 60', the 1/4 was a 13.2@108 and would've gone 13.1 on the next pass after I iced the intake and let the motor cool down, but I botched the launch. Oh well, I'm satisfied with a 13.2. That's not a bad run for a bone stocker in 80* weather. Depending on how finicky the computer is, I'd bet I could get a 12 second run out of it in better weather with a better prepped track.
