HELP PLEASE- How to tell if trans pan is shallow or deep?

I want to change the automatic trans fluid in my 98 vette, but I don't know if I have a shallow or deep trans pan. How do I find out which one I have.

I did not know the Vette 4l60's came deep and shallow. On the trucks, deep is 3" deep....shallow is 2" deep. That's the question I pose to my customers...

I have this filter kit # 24208574 from a chevy dealer, he said it was the filter I needed.
