    Greetings Gentlemen

    I've been in the Camaro Forum for a little while, but recently my wife and I just decided that after the first part of next year we'd get our dream car. A 2009 Z06 Vette. I've had a 1/2 dozen Camaros, and have always wanted a Corvette, and as of the latest model offering, the Z06 especially.
    When GM began the "Employee pricing" I began to do some researching and found a JBM 2LZ Z06 at the same dealer we just purchased a new Silverado a few months ago still on the showroom floor.

    So we offered them $68 large and change and we are now the very proud owners of our first Corvette! (so much for the 2009 model year)
    The car is incredible, and has surpassed all of my expectations. I've yet to really put my foot in it, as I'm a bit on the "old school" side and believe in breaking it in easily. But I'm at about 400 miles, so it won't be too long.
    Well, I just wanted to introduce myself here and say greetings to all of you over here on the Corvette side. Jim
