Will a ls6 CAI fit a ls1? If so, how much was it and where did you get it?

vararam results won't show up on the dyno, but they come up big in the 1/4 mile.

good that ppl are mentioning the vara ram ive been wondering about them... i love the concept, but feel like the build quality isnt there... the pics of installs that i have seen looks like its a shotty (shody, shaudy wtf ever) product... and the filter on it... what kind of joke is that...

i was thinking about just a k&n and replace the bumper holes with vents... not true ram air, but what can you do... well either that of one that pulls air from the radiatio duct... that was something that was gonna come up in a month or so...

If you look at your stock air filter assembly, you will see that it has a cover in front of the filter holding it in place. The filter slides down between the box it seals to (on the TB side), and this cover. I think that the cover is labled "PULL TO REMOVE" or something like that, which is instructions on how to remove the air filter.

That cover is bolted to the core support with two hex head screws.

Remove that cover, and take two large tyewraps, and secure your now totally exposed air filter into place.

You may have to double up on your tye wraps in order to reach all the way around..

It's gonna flow better than any CAI, except for maybe some ram air system like a Vararam.

I would be nervous about driving it in heave rain, but that would be the case with any CAI.
