    C5 Exhaust routing...

    Has anyone just deleted the mufflers and gone straight pipe out the back from the flange just forward of the axle? As an example, the back portion of this exhaust only:

    That or just put some bullets inline to keep the noise down a little bit? I'm looking to do exhaust soon, and I don't like the quad tips that most have, or the muffler location.

    The price is awesome right now go for it.

    Just got back from the exhaust shop... mufflers are deleted, twin round tips installed splayed out. I LOVE the sound, not too loud, doesn't break up much, nice and meaty when you get on it.



    Now I just need wifely approval to keep it this way!

    Had a local shop do it (I'm in Hawaii) called Larry's (sounds redneck right?)

    Cost $250, which I think is a little high, but most stuff is here.

    I'll get some pics up soon, did plugs and wires today so I was busy...

    I went with the B&B Bullets with custom 5 inch dual tips. Great sound and the look is pretty sweet. I'll try and get some pics up.
