Air Induction Kits
Hello Folks
I have a question about air induction systems,I have researched the top systems Vararam,SLP,Stinger, I guess my question is do these systems really work?,I dont race my 1998 C-5 just drive as a cruiser,so i would like a little more giddy-up at lower speeds.Any thoughts out there
Thanks people

SILVER- 2002 Z28
I have gone from a modified stock airbox to the VORTEX Rammer, it worked, noticeable differance. Left the hole in my shorud and replaced the RAMMER with the SLP BLACKWING and noticed better throttle response.
My buddy went from a bone stock '98 VERT to just the BLACKWING and a smooth coupler and noticed throttle response and a car that pulled better throughout the power bands. He was a believer. For the price, the gain was worth it.

Quick Silver- 2001 Corvette Z06
I made some gains in my car with the Vararam also.
My overall times are always crappy b/cuz I can't launch but my trap speeds did go up about a mile and a half. Was usually in the 107.xx and after the vararam was 108.99, 108.8x, etc...
Outside of the drag strip, I don't know how good it would be for you. Maybe the stinger, or honker, or something like that. Hell, even the zip tie mod made me notice a little difference...
good luck.07' Lexus IS350. Saving up for a C6 Z.
01' Quick Silver Z06. <-- SOLD!
