Hey guys i was wondering what your thoughts were on a 97 coupe. It has 70,xxx miles on it. As far as i know its stock. Needs some work reseal tranny and front tires. nothing major. its black on black 6spd ls1. its been in my shop befor
no leaks as far as the diff motor or anything up front. he wants 12,000 for it. Is it worth it for a 97. whats has change between the 97 and other models? thanks for the help

12k is an excellent price for a C5, especially for one with under 100kmi and a rare 6spd!

Check Autotrader.com, most 97's are a few k more.

My fave color combo too.

I'd jump on it, the major differences between the years are the nicer IMO wheels from 00-04 and the LS6 intake with a 5hp and 25 tq bump(6spd) in 01 other wise they are pretty much the esame car with only minor improvements and options like heads up display.

Make sure it has clear title ( not a salvage). Maybe check carfax for any prior damage.$12000 seems like a steal.
