'79 vette L-48?
I stopped at a used car lot and took a look at one for sale. It has a little over 70k miles on it. I know nothing of this generation of motor and I am a new-b when it comes to internal workings of engines and such.
He is asking $13k+ for the car. Any advice or suggestions?

millenium yellow- 2000 corvette
L-48 is 185 h.p. Its a good small block V-8 . Can be easily modified with a carb, intake ,and cam package. The '79 had bad rear leaf spring.Lookk for sag in the rear of the car. Also when test driving listen for suspension squeaks. It may need new body mount bushings. There is alot of '79 vettes out there.13K sounds kind of high to me.
