    2008 Vette Pace Car

We live near Indy and my wife works at the Speedway and we've had use of a 2008 Vette Pace Car coupe auto this last week. The car is awesome, extremely fast, fantastic acceleration, great handling and just a blast to drive. It has an LS3 and the paddle shift option which is kinda cool but I still prefer a manual ( I have an 02 SS M6). The optional exhaust sounds great when you get on it and the heads up display is another cool gadget. The car looks great and gets attention wherever we go, a very civilized ride that still kicks ass when you're ready!

If you're not from around here the Speedway gets a bunch (50-60) pace cars to give employee's, bigshots, celebs, etc during April and May so it's not uncommon to see them around here. This is the 2nd year in a row she's got
a vette pace car and sure is a nice perk, just sux to give it back.
