thanks - ed blown vert for posting this information ,on these great corvettes ! they were the greatest corvettes at that time ! some members of our local corvette club owned them..my favorite was the coupe with red top engine/ lt4 [30 more horses at top end ] and those factory flares !! they were king ,till 97/c5 and newer models, came out ! rkvette

The 97 c5 had really no more performance than a 96 GS. Damn near same hp,same weight and the GS could hanlde and stop just aswell. There were BA only the lt5 had more power but the zr1s couldnt handle aswell.
