Talking From 01SS to 03Z06, DONE!

Okay, so now that I'm done w/f-bodies and the LS1, where can I find general info on the LS6 and maybe something that explains the differences from the LS1. Things like,

What plug type and no. should I use for street and occasional strip/track use?

Whats the best upgrade for a cam swap if I stay w/the stock heads?

    What bolt-on combo works best?

    BlownC5, maybe you can help?

    Thanx!

NGK TR-6 plugs work well na. There are MANY cam choices out there, it all depends on what kind of driving you do. You have a good flowing exhaust with the titaniums, you don't need to change em unless you want a louder sound. Headers, a good air intake like the Honker or even the vararam if the quality has improved will give you another 20hp or so. Have fun!

This was posted under the Corvette specific section so maybe you should stay in the T/A section. This guy was looking for information not sarcasm!

if you had an 01 the only difference between the 2 motors are the heads and cam.

the window casts are different, alot of small stuff..the LS7 has a dry oil sump for better lubercation at higer speeds/Gs. and i believe the ls7 is electronic throttle "fly by wire" compared to the mechcanical throttle control. The valves are bigger and connecting rods are titianuim..oh shit you said ls6 ..well the major things with that is the dry oil sump, window casting improved, higer lift cam, and new heads...but yea they are pretty much the same.
