    ZO6 in F Body Problem

    Hi all
    First a little background
    My wife has a 2000 WS6 vert m6 75000 kms
About a month ago the engine let go 200 ppm hydrocarbons in the coolant
We decided to do an LS6/ZO6 swap ,ordered a goodwrench motor from crate engine depot, had it installed by a very competant shop, used the stock LS1 intake. Car fired right up no issues. Then it threw a code , misfire on 7&8
It was determined that the fuel pump was bad . Replaced fuel pump, no codes now but still stumbling.Fast forward only 70 pounds compression on 7&8
Are we missing something? or is the motor hooped ?

How many miles did you run before doing the compression test? Were you getting detonation? It seems very odd that you could have burned the rear two pistons. Do a leak down test and see where the pressure is going.

Sounds like a bad motor. I'd do a cylinder leak down test to see where the missing compression is going.

Do a leakdown as stated, it is more revealing...

Why are you using a stock LS1 intake instead of the proper LS6 intake?

The LS1 intake will work. Forget the compression test now, need to do a leak down.

Had a problem like this on a 6.o pick up, guy installed engine at home and
left a ball of paper towel in #8 intake port in the head. removed intake and called him, very easy to do if you dont double check your work
