Thanks. I knew about the EGR already. I read on here that the ones off the
Z06's don't flow quite as well as the ones off the F-bodies.

LS6 (Z06) intake is better than the LS1.

I think you guys are confusing each other. The "legend" is that the f-body LS6 intake outflows the z06 intake. There was a flow test done several years ago. I would say the differences would be minimal at best.

I meant LS6 intakes off the 01-02 F-body cars are said to flow better than the LS6 intakes off the Z06 Vettes.

Different part numbers, but the intakes should be identical physically.

but if the parts ARE phisically identical, then why would you need to I.D. them???

GM makes any excuse they can to change part numbers, maybe just to add to confusion? In reality, any change made to a part number from GM, such as production facility, redesign, even color, can cause a change in part number. They are physically identical, the part number change probably reflects on what chassis they are installed. f-car or y-car.

I would be very suprised to see a factory LS6 manifold on an f-body outflow the exact same intake on an LS6 equipped z06. It's the exact same thing.
