"y pipe"

my friend has a y pipe cutout. hes getting his car smog pretty soon, and he told me he needs help finding a cover for his cutout. i believe he said it was
3'' y pipe. so hes going to need the gasket, the 3 bolt flange cover and the bolts+locks. ive been looking online, and the only thing i could find is the whole y pipe cutout system. thanks in advance!

If you need it asap i would suggest getting a piece of stock or steel plate, Cut it to size, drill a few holes, and get some gasket paper to seal it. Second option is if he has a cutout im not sure if you can just purchase the plate, you may have to purchase a full cutout. I think summitt has them for 25 bucks.

you would have to purchase a full cut out as i had a issue with just getting the plate to close it. Just make it and the wing nuts are easy to find.

As suggested above, just cut some flat metal to fit. If you don't want it leaking i'd suggest a good gasket like this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-610130/
$10 a pair is pretty decent
