    So yesterday i was looking at my 01 trans am rpo codes and i notice that it had the coed ws9? What does that coed mean?. i know my car is not a formula because it has everything about a trans am and the title as well. plus i know how to tell a formula apart from a t/a. And i also know is not a ws6 because i also know how to tell them apart. So my question is, what does the RPO coed ws9 mean?

    they all start out as a formula... the TA gets the factory conversion (WS9) ground effects, new front bumper and rear wing etc etc...

    WS9 is the Formula conversion Pkg
    W66 is the Formula Merchandise Pkg
    Y82 is the Trans Am Merchandise Pkg
    All the V8 cars carry the WS9 Code, To be a Formula or Trans Am it must have the coresponding code aswell.
    WS9 + W66 = Formula
    WS9 + Y82 = Trans Am
    WS9 + W66 + WS6 = Formula WS6
    WS9 + Y82 + WS6 = Trans Am WS6

    since were at this. What does the coed w55 mean? is it sound system package or what? im trying to find everything about my new t/a cause is fully loaded except the ws6 package.

    sounds good dude. i notice your (year one rims). Do u have a full picture of the car with does rims?. I was thinking on getting a set for mine but i cant decide weather year one, or torq thrust rims.

    W55 is the standard Monsoon System with the CD player.
    W54 is the Same but with Tape Deck.

    I love these wheels. My way of tying the 2nd Gen to the 4th Gen.

    They are wrapped in Nitto NT555R's 255/40R17 front and 275/40R17 rear. next time I'm going with 295/40R17 for the rear to give it a little more meat on the back. I also have 1" drop Hotchkins springs and the current wheels fill the well nicely





    I choose this over the TTIIs or vette wheels because I felt they are played out on Mustangs (TT IIs) and the vette wheels on Camaros.
