My buddy said the starter might be stuck but i cant get to it to tap it, my drive way is on a hill and im worried about jacking it up, Btw the car is a 2000 auto ls1. Thanks so much guys

Check the fuses and relays as well. IT sounds like there is no power getting to it.

go under the car and tap the starter with a screw driver and have a buddy turn the car over...that may free up the starter, sometimes they go and all you get is nothing, not even a tick.

Mine did the same thing, tapped it and had my brother turn it over and she fired up

I was driving home one day, when all of a sudden all my guages went dead. But the car was still on. I pulled in the driveway, and shut her down. I tried to start it up but it was totally dead. Similar to what you are experiencing. I thought I was up a creek, until I check the fuses. Two bucks and a 25amp fuse, and I'm crusing again

i would put money on it being the starter...every now and again i have to jack of the car (in my driveway, on a hill) and smack the starter...

place some blocks behind the wheels and you'll be fine.
