The DeCarbons are "usually" a giveaway but that doesn't mean much my Z28 (2000) had DeCarbons on it. We are still trying to figure that one out.

    Price mostly.

If you are going to leave it stock, the WS.6 has a slight handling advantage, but powerwise they are basicly the same.

WS6 is the handling package with the RAM AIR option which GM claims give an extra 15hp hence why the WS6 is rated at 325hp and the reg TA is rated at 310hp cuz of the ram air...thats basically the difference and im not sure if this is all WS6's or just my collectors edition but i believe they get black power coated calipers and 275/40/17R on all 4 corners...

well I guess the obvious question would be then in your opinion guys. If I intend on modifying my car with a lid and rims do you think its worth while saving the cash and just changing that stuff out anyway... I mean if its an expense I have to go through regardless I might aswell save some cash. The only thing I'll be short on and have to replace unplanned would be a hood and suspension... does it pay in the long run?

I would save the cash and get a TA. The only way it would pay off is of you really like the ws6 look

If your gonna change the rims out anyway I'd get a regular TA. The rims are half the reason for the price jack.

If you are in the market?, I just joined the board and I'm am selling mine. I will be posting it today but you can see the pics of it in the new members section. The thread is "new from columbia south carolina" she has 52000 on her now and still has the remainder of an extended warranty up to 75000 or 2009. I'm asking 17500 for it and its a beautiful car and in great shape.
