Ws6 Ramair Hood

I just picked up my WS6 hood from chenz42387,thanks and i was wondering if its fiberglass or plastic like the rest of the body,it is a GM hood.I know original trans am hoods are metal.Also the large opening in the underside of the hood,is there some kind of screen that goes there or something else.If some1 has pics of the WS6 hood,that would be great.Also do i just need the lower ramair air box or something else,i already have a lid.thanks

Original ram airl hoods are fiberglass, unless I miss the mark here. The large opening is not screened, the grilles on the visible side of the hood are all (besides the baffles) that really cleans the incoming air except for the filter. You don't even HAVE to have the lower box, but running that many washers under your factory box will probably be tough on you.

i have a ram air hood, and i dont have the ram air box, i have a whisper lid which is working fine. There isnt a screen for that vent because thats your ram air, screening that would defeat the purpose...

my boyfriend painted the grill inserts glossy black, i didnt want them to be flat against the glossy paint on the hood.
