Are your fog lights close to the front plate or are they to the outside of the front bumper??

If the fog lights are in close....It is a Firebird Trans Am WS.6.
If they are on the outer part...It is a Firebird Formula WS.6.

    You'll know if it's a ws6 by the hood.

The differences between the t/a and formula are:

different body styling (as already stated)

the formula can have a v6 where as the t/a will have just the v8.

if it's a ws6 they both have a better suspension/handling package and upgraded exhaust.

And i believe the t/a weighs a little bit more than the formula. Like around 50 lbs. nothing huge.

i didn't think so either but according to msn autos there where. I think it's more of a typo. I was on there researching the differences when I bought mine and under engine specs. for the formula trim it listed the v6 and v8.

They probably just don't know what they're talking about becuase i think that's the whole point of the formula is to be an 8.
