    won't start from time to time

    hi
    I am having a problem with my car starting from time to time. it will start 10 times and then on 11 it won't start it turns over but won't start. done it about 5 times I have it taken to a shop and there are no codes and it may start. any help would be super

    starter checks out fine. it turns over but doesn't start thought I was fuel but that al checks out fine.

    If it's cranking over but not starting, then it's def not the starter. I think you have a fuel pump going bad. Have you ever replaced the fuel filter? The only way to find out is to have a fuel pump gauge on it while cranking. It should read at least 50 psi. The only other possibility would be spark. You could have an intermittent prob with lack of spark. Check all your grounds. These cars are famous for corrosion around some of the MANY grounding locations.

    it has a new holly fuel pump at least 75 lb pressure all grounds are clean and tight the car is a fresh pro ground up resto.

    I assume you are talking about a fuel injected LS engine, in which case that fuel pressure should be regulated to 58 psi.

    thank you it runs great but does the higer pressure cause the startiing problem.
