Wiring Nightmare
I just bought a 1998 WS6 that is extremly modified. All the original wiring is still there and in place. Most everything no needed for drag racing is gone, example, wipers, abs, a/c ect. I started pulling much of it out of the guides and following it. I want to remove all that is not used or connected. Every thing needed on the car is working well. I would like to pull and follow end to end but its looking a bit impossible unless motor and intieror is totally pulled out. My question is would I run in to trouble later if I just take what I can get for now cut it there and cap or silicone ends to prevent sparks from live wires? And then when I do pull the motor go ahead and finish it up. Thanks guys

I think you would benefit from the tool that I have. My dad gave it to me, and he used it for cable and phone lines. I think its called a soundphone. You clip a lead on the wire you want to chase down, and then use the wand to identify where it is. It is extremely sensitive, and i used it to rewire the stereo in my car. It would tell you where every wire in the car is run. I dont know if this helps you, but that is what I would use.
