    Wire Mod problems Please help

well, I really did it this time, just finished the wire mod looks great, but when i started my car the gas gauge was not working and the service engine soon light came on also my climate control has no adjustability in direction(face, feet, vent). A wire diagram would be very helpful but any knowledge at all would be great.

sounds llike you missed reconnecting something to the PCM start with double checking seating of all the connectors from the PCM back.

Actually i did the mod slightly differently, i cut the wire and ran them through a hole i drilled in the fender well, so i would not have a huge hol in the fenderwell. oddly enough the gas gauge worked while the car was in the air but when i put it on the ground and started it it didnt work, then the check engine light came on.

Cut the wire huh, ok how did you put them back together? did you use a butt connector or solder and heat shrink?

running the wires that run across the top of the passenger front fender well below the fender to hide them and tidy up the engine bay. I know i've seen pics on here, anyone? and to the original post; sounds you either missed something when reconnecting or have a bad reconnect on one. I'm also interested in how you reconnected the ends--butt connectors or solder or what? if it worked in the air and not when you let it down it would lead me to think a bad connection--got disturbed a bit on the way down and isn't making contact.

I soldered them. right now its just the gas gauge and the check engine light. i belive the gas gauge just has a bad connection as for the check engine i dont know but yet.
