    @ handheld.

Get a wideband on it if you are that worried about it.

Anytime you allow air to come in and get out faster and at higher volumes, the stock tune will start to go rich.

I'm not that worried about it I was just curious as to what affects the air fuel ratio......anyone else with an idea

More air coming out of the motor faster will register more air at the O2's...and the computer will make up for it with more fuel.

Frost the tuning expert on here has said that he doesn't think that the new intake would cause that......................

MAP sensor and MAF sensor will both read more air coming in...and assume it needs a bit more fuel.

This is why MOST of the bolt-ons cause our cars to go rich.
The factory is already a bit fat.

Rich won't hurt anything. Other than a little bit of power.
You need to get a wideband on it to see how bad it really is.

Mail order tunes aren't bad for most bolt-on cars.
Hard to do it here at our altitude though.
Lots of shops have set tunes for their cams as well.

I would obviously prefer a full dyno tune though.

No, I said it wouldn't have enough of an impact to set a code. This entire thread is speculation without knowing what DTC was set as I told you via email.

I don't know what kragen is, but if you picked up the code with the handheld before, why not use it again?

It appears the O2 is creating the rich condition.

What O2's did you replace? Which ones did you put in?
The passenger side O2 appears to be having a problem.
