It's at the 12 o'clock position, on the back, under a rubber boot.

    alt.

    car is a 99 TA.

last time I crawled under there I observed some wires at the 7 o clock position. I take another look at the 12 o clock position.

will the alt. have to be removed to acess the wires?

I found this image and see the wires at 12 o clock looks like there are 4 wires w/ 2 plugs.

which one is the positive please include color.

    Thanks

it's easier to remove the alt to get to those. i did mine last night but unfortunately did not pay attention to the colors. the boot will have a bolt on top of the connector ... just support the alt while it's hanging to get to it, probs easiest to get it.

I'm assumming you just did the big 3.

was you're chargeing sys. not fully chargeing the battery due to audio amps.?

what type of terminal did you use at the alt.?

    Thanks for the tips
