Where does this go???!
alright so I dont really know much but I do know this tube has to do with the whole AIR system. And I'm pretty sure it wasnt like this stock, so basically I just need to know where it goes

Goes to the secondary air pump under the front of the car. The end in your hand attaches to the airbox.

actually now I'm not sure if it's the stock lid or not. I'm the second owner of the vehicle and I'm not sure what the stock lid looks like. I don't have ram air.

Looks like the stock lid, but the helmholz resonator behind it has been butchered. Therefore, the bung for the air hose is missing. You can install a small filter breather in the end of the hose and then zip tie it to the radiator support.

alright ill do that for now. would you recommend an aftermarket lid?

That would be the quickest fix for you. The lid should come with a rubber grommet, elbow, hose and union to attach the secondary air hose. It will also do away with the butchered helmholtz resonator.
