When asking a question....
When you're having issues with the car and need some help figuring it out there will always be people here willing to help. Give them a fighting chance of helping you by listing your mods, how recent your mods were to your issue, and anything you feel is pertinent to the situation.
Don't post you have a lean code and then 2 days and 15 posts later mention that you did a fuel pump 2 days before the code showed up.
These threads tend to have a flow of direction to them. Without specific details on the car it's easy to start heading in the wrong direction which takes the chance of wasting your money and everyone's time. Most of the time with everyone putting their heads together these issues get solved but I can't count the number of times I've read a thread and a lot of time and energy could've been saved had the original poster listed all the specifics to the problem.
In other words....help us help you.

I try
That is try to list anything and everything I might feel, know, or guess is pertaining to the situation. As a matter of fact I fear sometimes including too much. Maybe clouding the actual issue...
That said, I have to THANK everyone that has helped me here.
I have gotten a great amount of help for myself and others that quiz me with their troubles that I might not be sure of.
If it is one of my posts that lacks, PLEASE let me know. I am not too proud as I am already begging for assistance.

I'm not intending this for any one person in general....just as a rule of thumb for everyone. The more accurate the info the more accurate the answers can be. I think a lot of times people either don't think to add the work done or don't feel it's important. I've seen people post that their car was running extremely rough and after 2-3 days of people posting possible solutions the original poster then feels they should tell us they're running on a new cam with no tune.
