    whats in your parts washer

    what does everyone use in their parts washers, mineral spirirts, degreaser or what thanks

    atwoods brand vat solvent with a fluid heater. Keeps it right around 100deg, works great

    Varsol is what use, works great and as far as I know isn't flammable nor fast evaporating. Smell good too.

    Right now... totally nasty sludge which I really need to change. I will probably go with Varsol when I do get around to replacing it.

    i looked up varsol and it says it is a brand name mineral spirits with a medium to fast evaporation rate. where do you guys get yours, how much does it cost

    Should be able to find it at nearly any hardware store with the paint thinners. Or you could try calling an Imperial Oil (Exxon) bulk dealer.

    Varsol = mineral spirits = general paint thinner

    It is most definitely flammable.

    Parts washing fluid, my father in-law used to buy it by the 55 gal drum. He got it from a local petrolium dealer. I think you can buy it at most farm supply stores in gallons and 5 gallons.
