    Whats Next ??

Ok im looking for the next best mod to add power to my 2000 t/a. I already have Mti Lid, complete Hooker cat-back and Pacesetter l/t with ory. What would anybody suggest for the next mod to give me more power? Heads? Cam? <--( a lot of work from what i have heard) Intake?

if youre car is an automatic, get a stall conveter. no other mod for an automatic is better.
if your car is a six speed, get a cam in the 228/228 range, its tame and gives great results

What exactly does a stall converter do for the car and performance? and should i get one of those before i get a 3.73 gear or subframe connector?

If you don’t want to dive to far into the engine, look at changing you rocker arm ratio. Personally I like the crane cam quick lifts rocker arms better than the slp sets. I think that the camshaft in the 2000 ls1's has the best lift and duration of all the ls1's with the acceptations of the ls6. I also think that I read somewhere that the 2000 ls1's have the most restrictive intake manifold out of all the years. Might want to start with some modifications like this. Think of what you want to do with the car and base your modificatons on that.

A higher stall TC will eliminate the dead spots(you floor it and the tranny doesn't downshift), it'll flash/slip to the stall speed rpm and a torque converter is exactly that...it multiplies the torque. I'd get the SFC's, stall then gears....you'll want a tune after also

Get a LS6 intake, port the TB and put a 100shot on it...
