sure it wasn't secondary air injection? That's your a.i.r. system and depending on the code it could be a couple of things. Most common is p1415 and p1416 which are usually clogged or stuck check valves which are on the tops of the exhaust manifolds. 1415 is the drivers side and 1416 is the passenger side. The valves are ~$20 at NAPA.

What's the code? Might not be the air pump at all.

+1 Do not go replacing parts until you have diagnosed the problem. The secondary air system is very easy to check and you can usually identify the issue within a couple of minutes.

Have the code checked again. Remember measure twice and cut once.

P0410 is the code for a secondary air fault (if I recall). If on cold start up there was no air blowing from the front hose -- disconnected from the union on top of the driver side strut tower -- then you do have a possible pump issue. Did you try swapping out relays or probe the connectors with a test light to check for power?

I put a new relay in no luck with that.
Does anyone have a pic of what the pump looks like?

Put the front of the car in the air and unbolt the splash shield in front of the driver side wheel well. The pump sets just above the splash shield. I swiped a pic off Tep's build thread as that is the only pic I could think of that shows the air pump:

I just went out to the garage to take some pics of the one I pulled off my car for you so you get a closer look at what it looks like.

I had mine take off when I got LTs put on.

Depends upon the inspection laws in your state. You can delete the code with a tune so that it would pass the "light test". However, your car would be missing factory emissions equipment. I will be deleting the secondary air system and rear O2's when I purchase my LT's and catted Y in a few months.
