it's also our job to answer him correctly. while SFC will help him make USE of the power, it won't get him what he's trying to attain. neither of my cars have SFC.

you did it ok. kinda backwards, but ok. answer their question, then offer other suggestions for improvements. you did the imporvement, then answered his question.

so, back at you. and a for good measure. BTW

For your first best mods for real hp...

It depends on how much $$$ ur willing to spend. If you've got the cash, drop, say, $6000 for a supercharger, and you've got yourself $125+ HP. Otherwise, I'd go with either upgrading your intake AND exhaust ($$) , or going with a mild cam ($$$) (although won't give you BIG gains until you upgrade your heads and headers)

That $6000 supercharger that will ALWAYS be wearing on the motor could be replaced with a NICE kit for $1000 with a fuel pump upgrade. And the kit will add MORE horsepower than the $6000 supercharger. Not to mention it can be turned on and off.
You can easily have a mid 11 second car with stock heads and exhaust.

well i got a great deal on a cam set, its the cam i mentioned earlier with springs titanium retainers and hardened chrome moly push rods. ive ordered new intake and bellow and the exhaust should be here soon. so im thinkin that with what i have planned im hoping to get over 400 hp. its a big cam, and full exhaust should give me that. im doing hooker headers and borla 3" with an electric cut out. after i get it all done and tuned ill post the results but that wont be for a good little bit. ill keep you all updated and thanks for all the help guys!!!

It would depend mostly on budget. I tend to lean towards air in and out first. Lid, headers, catback, and a tune would be a decent start. If it's an a4 then forget everything I just said and get a stall first.
