I would do a cat-back. Same hp as a lid almost and you get more sound. I have had horrid experiences with lids though. Should have done a catback. It will give you the tone and time to get used to 300whp before you step it up. A lot of ppl need to just get used to a 300whp car to begin with before they really tear into it.

ok so i have the cam and i have the K7N intake that they offer with a smooth bellow and i punched the screen on the MAF so that should be good, especially when i was under 200 for the intake and bellow. next im ordering hooker headers and the borla is on its way. im throwing 18" zo6 rims 10.5 wide on her just need to get the tires. ive spent 1500 so far and have enough for the headers plus more. i am thinking of using the LQ4/Lq9 heads from the silverados LS1 because ive read that they have a larger chamber for fuel flow so it will be better a turbo setup. anyone have any comments let me know. thanks.

Tires, torque converter, then gears, shift kit, intake exhaust, then a tune in that order should be pretty decent

Get a lid and air cleaner and get a REAL dyno tune.
Do the lid first so you can get the most bang for your buck on the tune!!
But that tune will give you the greatest gain.
Cam and intake all that stuff needs to be after you can dead hook the power you got now!
I would install some junkyard V-6 springs in the rear and it will be night and day difference.... Then put some sub frame connectors... Now time for a pair of drag radials.
Put a 100 -150 shot on it for a 1/3 of the price of the cam, spring, intake swap. You'll sound bone stock and NO added wear on the motor except when your on the button.
Thats my 2 cents take it or leave it.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

the v6 springs are longer but softer.

they help the car squat and therfore get off the line more efficiently.

i have a friend that threw v6 springs on a z-car with normal street tires and he hooked way better... for like 30 bucks i think it was!

The spring rate is much lighter.

They might look like a taller stack but NO they won't make the rear of your car sit high. Usually we can put them in and the car will have the ride height of a 1 " drop. The higher milage ones the better.
But yes it does work as I've stated on here 20 times already I've been doing this mod for 13 years now.

nitrous is the best bang for the buck

    stock 13.606 @ 101.66
    150 shot 11.97 @ 117

nothing else can out do it for the money.
