    they recived a smaller cam than the previous, some of them used a LS6 block ( no power differance), ahh no egr, better PCV valve. anything else im forgetting?

    now i got a question because the ls6 block has relief cuts in the block and they say that make the motor have less pcv pressure and they also say gives more hp on the top end... sooo how does the ls6 block not give more hp

    i think it isnt really measurable do to gm's engine build tolerances..but the ls6 block is obviously better then the ls1 block..especially with its oil windows ect.

    It flattens out the power curve, doesn't increase the over all peak rating. All the LS6 block does is reduces windage losses between the cyclinders allowing for less drag basicly on the pistons as they move. The upwards movement of the piston creats a vacuum behind it. The "windows" between the cylinders allow the air to flow easier, reducing this vacuum and over all load.
