What oil should I use for my 2000 Z28 . 146k miles on it..

Black & Blue- '02 WS.6 / '07 Suburban
Amsoil, Mobil 1 and Penzoil Platinum are all good synthetics.

To save money you can use the Walmart synthetic oil which is made by Shell, good choice for a DD. I use Mobil 1 because it is good oil and I only put 2500 to 3000 miles a year on mine so it is one oil change a year, no big savings for me.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

Thank you for the suggestions I will go with Mobil1. So what you think of the Lucas oil stabilizer.

I would not utilize any additives with the oil.

The oils today are so highly refined and have additives in them, that it really is not necessary to add anything to the oil.

I use Lucas synthetic additive with Mobil 1 and a K&N filter because I only change my oil once a year. Better safe then sorry.
