What lubrication would you use for a throttle body?

Not on my LS1, but it should apply to any TB.

My TB on my 98 Jeep GC is sticking alittle, I'm going to clean it and was wondering what I should use to lubricate the moving parts.

    Any suggestions?

I use white lithium grease. Just make sure you clean the TB correctly and do a good job at the blade mount.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

I never put any lubricant on my TB's. I do remove it and clean it real good. The main thing is to make sure the blade moves easy and that it has tension from the spring. I don't think some lubricant will hurt but don't put a lot of it.

I could be wrong, but I believe throttle body cleaner has lubricant in it. Spray the TB, wipe it down real good and you should be good to go.

The sticking you're feeling is the build up in the tb. Give it a good scrub and sticking will be gone. No lubrication needed

I sadly still haven't done this.

I was going to soak it in parts cleaner, but TB cleaner will suffice?
