    what to look for

    might be getting back into the f body scene soon. besides clutches and rear ends what weak spots should i look for. i will be hunting 98-02 TA
    i know head light motor , t top seals, power antenna & windows what am i missing?

    There was a recall on catalytic converters on fbods, Leaky rear pinion seals, Auto cars biggest weak spot is the input shaft/drum. That all I can really think of at the moment.

    I don't know if there was a recall but many fbods had to have a it replaced before the warranty went out. I had mine replaced at like 14k.

    just saying that casue i have about 30 k miles and my lat oil change the guy said he saw some meynute oil. good thing i have the ext warrenty

    haha - my car was repaired at the dealership at 15k miles for a leaky rear pinion and at 60k miles for a cat that failed...and my input shaft is currently leaking...not fixed yet...if there's TSB that'd be great.

    I know theres no TSB for the input shaft it's just another problem where the LS1 makes more than the parts can handle i.e. 10 bolt. On the Cats I don't know where to find it I just remember getting a letter in the mail about a month ago on cat failure.
