Just take it to a truck weigh station or dumptruck scale and weigh it.

I didn't think hard tops were available past '99 or something.

I think someone painted my hard top black, not sure though because its definitly been painted but not sure what color it was before black or white. I gotta get it repainted whoever painted it should be shot on sight. Another bad paint job by ofcourse another bad auto body shop and were in 2009 already and still cant paint black properly especially small surface area.

Hardtops were available all the way until 2002. My buddy had a 2000 and 2002 hardtop LS1 Camaro.

Best to take your car to a scale and weigh it. Alot of people think these things are feather weights but it's quite the opposite.
We had a scale day with some friends of mine and found from verts, to T-tops, to solid roof cars there wasn't much more than 60-70 lbs. difference between the cars.

My 02 SS vert weighs 3620 lbs with an auto, my 2000 T-top SS weighs 3560 lbs. with a 6-speed. My wifes 97 6speed Z28 convertable with a steel hood and cast iron LT1 was lighter than all of them at 3,520 lbs. Just didn't make sense but the scales didn't lie.

A friend of mine also had a T-top that was heavier than my vert They really vary depending on options and wheel sizes.

I think you'll find that most 4th gens are going to tip the scales at 3500 lbs. or more (without driver) unless it's a very stripped down low option car, and/or someone has went out of their way to remove weight.

    2002 Z28 A4 NBM
    Sadly now demodded :(

My 2002 T-top A4 Z28 (with ~1/2 tank of gas) weighed 3420 when I put it on the scales at the track (SpeedWorld).

The only options (that I can think of) that it doesn't have are the 12 disk CD changer and ASR.
