what is the cylinder placement( location ) for a 98 z28
is it the standard 1357, 2468 or did they change that?

Firing order is on the intake. 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3

yeah i got that much , but i need to know if they changed the numbering of the cylinders? i have a misfire that wont go away. ive replaced the plugs wires and even swapped the coils around. i figure its either the a valve or the computer... but thanks for the help=)

Do you mean which cylinders are which? If so, driver's side is odd, passenger even, increasing from front to back.

[FRONT]
(1)-(2)
(3)-(4)
(5)-(6)
(7)-(8)
[BACK]
[FIREWALL]

Did you check the gap of the plugs?
