Sarge what do you think would happen if i just add 1/2 qt of the Rotella 85-140 to the amsoil? think it would thicken it up enough? I'll tell ya why until i run around and get 85-140 amsoil i';ll waste another 50 bucks and time i don't want to waste. Thanks

Sure...I'd do it....they are compatible....I just think that 80-90 Amsoil is too thin....

cool...heres what i did.....took rotella 85-140 1/3 qt mixed with 2/3 rotella 80-90 mixed um fer total 1 qt of rotella aprox weight 110??? ten drained 1 qt of the 75-90 amsoil out and put that mix in.I hope i can get away with this until i find a good amsoil dealer in my area. The dealer i bought from is just too hard to contact and never calls back.I looked online but Amsoil store want almost 15 a qt plus shipping. What i want to do is change the entire mess out and put the 75-140 in.SOMBODY SLAP ME!

    Torco greese with Eaton posi.

    Yo Sarge,

Ok, I now have the TORCO RGO Racing Gear grease, 80W-90 (dino grease) with the TORCO Limited Slip Type "F" additive, in my axle that has an Eaton posi. I can report that all of the posi clutch squall has completely gone away in short order. Also, the slap that was occurring when the engine bucked has been greatly reduced, though I also put in shims in place of the crush washer and tightened up the ring/pinion clearance to the low side of the factory tolerances. I was concerned that tightening up the clearances might create a whine but it did not. The axle is quiet as it can be. Thanks for the recommendation. It has worked out well.

I can also report that I now have Amsoil Torque-Drive™ Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATD) in my M6 and it loves it. Again,
the slap is reduced when the engine bucks and I think that it shifts smother and quieter. The transmission just seems very quiet. As you
know, this is a heavy duty synthetic ATF intended for use in buses, motor coaches, garbage haulers, motor homes, delivery vans, emergency
vehicles, school buses, dump trucks, utility vehicles, cement trucks,
line haul trucks and tow trucks. However, it seems great in my M6.
    Again, thanks for the tip.

    ...>>Sam

And there are people who say it doesn't matter what lube you use. Well I'm glad it worked out good Sam......My GTO is liking the Torco stuff very much also....see a little research pays off doesn't it
