A weird sound, like by the dashboard.

Okay everytime I come to a complete stop, some knocking/clicking sound starts.
Its sound like its coming from the area by the breaker fluid container(1999CamaroZ28) .
Also if i put the car in reverse it starts... Not a lot of good details but if you have a idea, I would love to hear you out. Thanks

A clicking usualy is an exhaust leak, Does it only do it at idle? Is it constant? Could also be a little lifter tick.
