    weird hissing noise...ssss

Well I got my oil changed today and when I got home and pulled my car into the garage I noticed a light hissing sound coming from the motor. When I shut the car off and turn it back on at first it sounds normal but after its been running for about 15-20 secs after I start it the sound returns. WTF? All I got was an oil change and I know for a fact it was'nt there before I got it done...hmm...i'm gonna bring it back in tomorrow to see what the deal is, but its really bothering me now any ideas??? FYI My air conditioning has been off. Kinda sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the motor. Thanx for some input - Jason

Oh yeah and the only problem I have with my car is a very small oil leak, doubt that has anything to do with it but thought i'd add that in...

Check the airbox lid. Most oil change shops will inspect your air filter. The airbox lid could be loose. Check the bellows and hoses running near the airbox as well. The small drip could be residual oil from where the oil filter goes. Get back to us and let us know what you found.

X2 when I bought my car, I found where the rubber piece that attaches to the lid itself, had been pulled out of the back where the oil change monkeys had jacked with it.

I NEVER let ANYONE, especially a drive through that hires highschool punks, change my oil. Last time was 9 years ago when they crossthreaded the plug in my Mustang and nearly destroyed the engine.
