    weird headlight action

I was cruising home and it was getting dusk, a highway patrol stopped me, and told me that my lights were dim and only one was bright, talk about sweating bullets lol and when I put the high beams on both driver side lights were on.

    here is low beam.

    and here is High

I checked the dimmer switch and it is good.

otherwise the car is ok. no codes or anything.

You might have a bad ground under the hood somewhere. I can't remember if there are any grounds under the front bumper cover though. You might have to do some wire tracing on the driver's side for a harness for the headlight. I dunno if the low beam and high beam share a common ground.

Was your car ever in a frontal collision? Could be a broken wire as well.

I will take a look, the only I hit was a big old pheasant at 75 mph and let me tell there is a lot to clean up.

The headlight grounds are on leftside and rightside of the top of the radiator support. I suspect the left side one is open or disconnected
