last I heard it's still not out yet.....on a 2 year delay as of right now I think. Summit lists it with an estimated ship date of 2/22 but they've had that for a while. Half the nation is waiting on this thing evidently.

yea orion is right its been pushed back and back again. I bought one from summit back in Oct and they kept moving the dates for delivery forward so i canceled in Jan. I cant wait until this thing comes out though and drives the price of the FAST down. fast has been raping people long enough. I know the fast intake is the best flowing intake out there butt they have no competition in the composite intake market. I'm quite sure with a name like Holley (wieand) is not going to start mass producing these things until they are right . If and when that day comes ill buy one.

I just got a summit catolog with it in it in the ls1 section so is it not avaliable yet or what? Sounds nice at a reasonable price compared to the FAST.

A guy that I work with has a brother that works for holley and just got laid off. The are laying off a lot of people so this could be one of the main reasons.

WILL THIS FUCKING THING COME OUT ALREADY!!! I have been waiting and waiting just like most probably are. I can't wait to see numbers so I can decide which intake, Fast or Warrior I will be going with on my ride.

I wish the buzz about this intake would die already... its not going to come out sorry people but its not going to happen. They made some test models and tried them on an LS2 on an engine dyno and that barely hit their 30hp claim...
do the math
LS2 engine more horsepower base
LS2 intake flows worse then LS6 which means there is more power to be gained
Engine dyno will get higher numbers the a chassis dyno
They claimed 30rwhp over the populer LS6 intake on and LS1 engine... well guess what those claims are FAR short of how it actually performed... so
intake = scrapped design
couldn't hit the mark, now they're just be unprofessional and not telling anyone its not coming out. Is that really a company you want to be buying from, one that strings buyers along for TWO F**KING years?!! I decided no... hence the FAST intake and its inflated cost is what I got...
I would still rather spend my money and actually have something then save my money and never get anything.

The delay is due to the fact that Holley / Weiand is in chapter 11. It ain't that complicated. For those unfamiliar with bankruptcy laws, you need the judges permission to do anything more expensive than buy pencils. Anyone notice that they didn't show at SEMA? Really just a case of unfortunate timing for the Australian developers of the manifold, which actually works quite well, above opinion notwithstanding, and has certain advantages over the FAST. Had Peter Starr waited until Holley tanked before signing any exclusive distribution agreements, he might have been able to align himself with a different outfit.
