Water Damage
Had the windows cracked (black car, black interior) at work and a pop up storm messed up my world. Passenger side got the worst, water made it into the cigarette lighter and the cup holder had between 1/8 and 1/4 inch of water standing in it.
Anybody have suggestions on the best way to save the interior?
I've noticed the trim pieces beginning to discolor already and it's beginning to get the classic mildew smell after only maybe an hour.
Any and all help or suggestions are much appreciated

if that much water got in you need to remove the seats middle console and pull all the carpet out. Pull the door panels as well. You need to dry up at the metall surfaces good and let it air dry. I would wash the carpet and let it air dry. Don't put the carpet back until it has completely dry off. I will pull out all that stuff re install the seat so at least you can drive until the carpet dries off completely.

How long was the storm? And I agree with Jay's advice. If the T/A isn't your daily, then remove the interior and let air dry. Once dry and back in the car, use some Febreeze.
