PEWETER METALIC- 2002 CAMARO Z-28 M-6
Want 400RWHP,Is this setup a good choice
It looks like this is what Im leaning towards to get to the magical 400 rwhp mark!
a 224/224 113 LSA cam and afr 205 heads with roller rockers and chromo push rods. Ive been reading alot of different boards as well as ours and this seems like a good setup to go with for a Daily driver. What is your guys opinions on this setup?

Since you have a manual trans I would go bigger cam wise. You have many options. I have a 228/236 ,588, 114 and I have an automatic trans. It just depends on how fast you want to go.

I could easily daily drive my 228R on a 114.

Hmm ok I'll look more into the cam.
What about the heads? Seem to be a fairly proven performer?

a cam is for the most part only as good as the heads... make sure the heads are flow matched for your cam and you're golden... 400 easy with a tune... and not a pos hand held junk... a dyno tune... hand helds are good for changing shift ponts, gear ratios and that is about it...

Those heads milled to 60-62cc, and that 224 cam will make a very torquey 420+ HP even with the LS6 intake. There are 10-sec automatic cars with a Fast intake and that setup ya know...

So here is a question for you then frost. I just got my pcm back from you today and its great by the way!!! But if I do go with that Setup would it be possible to do a mail order tune with you again or will I have to take a road trip to richmond to get this tuned via dyno? Their are no good or reputable tuners around me and I prefer doing something right the first time.

That setup could be driveable with a mail order tune, but needs to be tuned in person to get it the driveability and HP out of it that you paid for.
Glad to hear that the mail order programming has worked out well for ya too.
